| About Me: Well, I like to go fast and always have, so fast cars have always been my passion. I am now 51 years old for the start of the 2010 season. I won the 2007 rookie title in the figure 8 division. I enjoyed dirt bikes growing up, and also did some ski racing. But always loved fast cars, and so I have drag raced on and off since the 80's. But always thought I would like to try this type of racing since seeing it at Englewood Speedway. I retired in 2009 from the trucking industry after thirty years. I believe having a steering wheel in my hands for that long has been an asset to me in racing. |
| Goals: My first goal was to win the rookie title in 07' and finish in the top ten in points. Did that! Now, after running only a few races during the 2008 and 2009 season, my goal for 2010 is to run the entire season, win some main events and finish the season in the top five in points, or better! But after a disasterous 2010 season I had to refocus, and start the 2011 season with determination to win my first main event win like never before! Hobbies and Interests: Auto racing, dirt bikes, water sports, camping, and snow skiing. I also enjoy watching auto racing, and some football (the Broncos) but it's all racing now. Family and Friends: I am married to the love of my life, Judy. She is the sister of CNS Figure 8 Champion Joe Matlock #22. I have two grown sons, Nathen and Adam, and Judy has three grown children, Ron, Chris, and Anna. Together we have six grandchildren. I married into a wonderful family of figure 8 loving maniacs (The Matlock family, relatives and friends). They are the biggest fans anyone could have! They help where they can and give moral support without fail! They are always there in the south turn stands cheering us on. They are the very BEST! The Crew My wife Judy, my son Adam and my friends Glen and Joel. Racing would be very difficult without their help. So thanks again to all of you! |
